Seattle’s Defining Address

Address: 121 Stewart Street, Seattle, WA
Completion: 2020
Architect: Hewitt
Interior Designer:
Susan Marinello Interiors

“The Emerald is grounded in the quality of its address. Located within the confluence of Pike Place Market, Downtown, and the Belltown neighborhood, the tower’s shape and form are responsive to a shift in the City street grid pattern. These fundamental site conditions of shape, size and location were generators of the architectural concept – a slender tower form of shifting angles offering water, mountain, and City skyline views. A concept that strikes a balance between the dynamic energy of the neighborhood and the embrace of home.”
— JULIA NAGELE, Director of Design - Architecture

Like a jewel in the downtown skyline, The Emerald rises 40 stories above the city’s most coveted location at Second Avenue & Stewart Street. A striking architectural statement that brings a new level of high-rise living to downtown Seattle. The tower’s iconic, faceted-glass exterior houses a collection of 262 signature residences with unrivaled views matched by breathtaking amenity spaces. The tower is crowned by a pair of penthouses, at 3,500 and 3,900 square feet, among the most refined and gracious residences in Seattle. Just one block from the iconic Pike Place Market, steps from the waterfront and surrounded by the city’s best culinary and cultural destinations.

The Emerald is the product of inspired collaboration between some of the top minds in architecture and design, including renowned design firms Hewitt and Susan Marinello Interiors, to create one of the most architecturally unique and “authentically Seattle” addresses the city has to offer.
